A special kind of holidays
Moored in picturesque bays, jump from the boat into the turquoise Mediterranean Sea, relax on the sundeck from everyday’s life or sleep below the stars –
all this could be your trip aboard the Andrıake. Sail with us along the most beautiful places in the South Aegean and the Mediterranean Sea.
Turquoise Mediterranean Sea, beautiful villages and idyllic coves built the perfect combination on our tour from Kaş to Demre.
Start: Kaş (Demre Hafen)
Finish: Demre Hafen (Kaş)
3 days, 2 nights
Kaş was once known as the ancient town of Antiphellos. Even today, the small town is crisscrossed with objects that are reminiscent of the ancient population. If you like, you can stretch your legs on a stroll to the well-preserved amphitheater. It’s just a short walk – about 500 meters. Or simply walk through the small village and drink a çay in the shade of palm trees.
Kekova, the sunken city is mainly known for its ancient and the underwater ruins. When we slowly sail by boat along the coast, you can see the foundations of buildings, stairways and the harbor basin. And with a little imagination you can revive the ancient culture.
Opposite of Kekova lies the idyllic fishing village of Simena, where time seems to stand still. This place is only accessible by boat or by foot. A road to Simena does not exist yet. A steep path brings you to the castle of Simena, which can be visited for a small entrance fee. From here you have a wonderful view over the idyllic coastline and all the ancient ruins. Walking up there is worthwhile in any case!
In clear nights you can see the Milky Way right above you. And during our stops you can jump of the boat, swim or snorkel and enjoy the beautiful scenery. If you are lucky, the captain will make a delicious BBQ in the evening.
Catering on board
Traditional Turkish breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea/coffee and dinner are included. Drinks can be purchased on board. Please do not bring your own drinks on board.
Our gulet has traditional double cabins with shower and toilets. If you need a single cab, please let us know in advance.
Important to know: In case of bad weather or rough seas we might change the program due to your own security.
Tip: From the harbor of Demre, you have the opportunity to visit the ruins of Myra with its Lycian tombs and the amphitheater. The domain of the “real” Santa Claus – St. Nicholas of Myra – is found in the St. Nicholas Church in Demre. This tour is not included in the boat tour. You have to organize by yourself. But it’s easy to catch a dolmus to get to Demre and Myra. Or if you like, start from here by public bus to Olympos.
